In the Pink

Needed some colour to brighten my day so I went for a pink theme. This card is for 5challenges:

Papertake Weekly Challenge was for a 'thank you' card
Digital Two for Tuesday provided the digi fairy stamp which I have coloured with ProMarkers and Sakura pens.
Creative Card Crew for 'Anything goes'
Polka Doodles for a 'free' theme
Delightful sketches for the layout.

I have used up lots of odds and ends from my stash and the shapes have been cut using Nestabilities dies. I have embellished with paper flowers and a peel-off sentiment.
Thank you for looking. Tess x

Oh Deer!

My card today is a birthday card for a friend. I have also met two challenges. I have followed a sketch set by sketch saturday and I have used an image of a stag for Rainbow Lady's challenge to use a deer or large animal. The background paper is from my Graphicus Guild membership pack and the image is from Joanna Sheen's 'Animal Antic's cd. I have embellished with an embossed nestabilities label, paper flowers, brads and a sentiment peel-off. thanks gor looking. Tess x

How Old?

Good morning from a very white and frosty London. For today's card I have used another image from Joanna Sheen's 'Precious Petals' CD - this is fast becoming one of my favourites. I followed a shetch from Friday Sketchers and met two other challenges as well. Crafty Ann's challenge was any colour but 'no red or green' and Cupcake Craft challenge was to make a 5 x 5 birthday card - this was a real challenge as it was much smaller than my usual card size.  I have embellished with paper flowers, brads, pearls. Thanks for looking. Tess x

New Hat

Just back from a few freezing days in Lille so needed something warm and cheerful. My card today is for 3 challenges:
Mojo Monday is a sketch
Basic Grey challenge was a colour combo - blue/cream/pink. I have used a background paper from the Basic Grey 'Perhaps' collection.
The final challenge was for PaperPlay - to make a card for something 'new' - I have applied artistic license here and made a card 'New Hat'. The fabulous image is from Joanna Sheen's cd 'Precious Petals'.
I have embellished with paper flowers, brads and letter stickers all from my stash. Thanks for looking. Tess x

All That Jazz

All that pain. All that love. All that crazy rhythm. All that jazz.

Had great fun making this card today.
It was made for 4 challenges - (this is getting so addictive):
Rainbow Lady's challenge was to use Mica and here I have used Cosmic Shimmer Mists on the 2 rectangular card pieces and I have 'painted' with it over the coloured stamped image.
Allsorts challenge was 'Swirls and Pearls'. I have chosen a swirly background paper by Papermania to coordinate and provide the swirls and I have embellished with pink pearls including one for an earring.
Paperplay challenge was to use a book/film for inspiration and of course that is the theme of the card 'All that Jazz' (1979 film).
Finally I have followed a sketch for the sketch saturday Challenge (I have rotated this).
The stamp was from a plate by Non Sequitur 'Springtime in Paris'. It was coloured with Promarkers and then overpainted with Cosmc Shimmer Mist. I have embellished further with paper flowers, brads and ribbon which has been coloured with a ProMarker pen to match - it was very bright pink!

Snow Much Fun

Well today it's back to Christmas cards! Todays offering is my cyber Christmas card to my friends on the Joanna Sheen Forum. I have also completed 2 challenges: Truly Scrumptious challenge was a sketch plus vellum and Digital Two for Tuesday provided the digi image. I have used background paper from my stash and some vellum with scrolls and dots. The image has been coloured with ProMarkers and layered on a mat cut with a Nestabilities label die. I have completed my card with some peel-off snowflakes, a sentiment and 2 dotty brads. Thanks for popping by today. Tess x
