Friendship

Had a lot of fun making this card today. The colour combo was Apple Green/Chocolate/Clotted Cream - not the range of colours I would normally choose but I do like a challenge. The image was a free download from Digital Two for Tuesday and it has been coloured with Promarkers (apple/cocoa/vanilla). The green patterned backing paper was from Joanna Sheen's oriental pad - the colours were just right. I embellished with fabric flowers, brads, sentiment from my stash and the dark green border has been punched with a Martha Stewart punch to give a 'lacey' effect. Hope you like this one. Tess x

The card is for the following challenges:
Crafty Creations.............'Friends'
One Stop card Challenge..........Colour combo .'Apple green/Chocolate/Clotted cream'
Sweet Sketch Wednesday .... for the layout which I have rotated.

With Love

I thought I would make a card using this gorgeous hydrangea image which is a free digi download from Nina at 'Crafting in Croatia' . I coloured the image with several shades of pink and green Promarkers and embellished with a tiny gem in the centre of each flower. The mats have been cut with a Nestabilities label die and them embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder 'swirls'. I have rubbed oved the raised parts with Tim Holtz distressed ink 'Shabby Shutters' to give it a bit of a lift. The pink/green backing paper is by Laura Ashley and the white/green print is from my bit box. The card is finished with green ribbon and a 'With Love' peel-off.

The card is for 2 challenges
Paper Sundaes for the sketch
Ooh La La - for ........'Love'

Thanks for looking. Tess x

Lavender and Lace

For my card today I have again raided my stash. I have used a pre-printed base card from Kanban and embellised with paper lace and spotty ribbon and a few paper flowers and brads. The image is a free download from Cute Daisy May - isn't she cute? The image has been coloured with Promarkers in shades of lavender, amethyst, purple, aubegine, yellow, satin and blush. I have used some little tapestry stamps to highlight round the edges of the image.
The card is for  2 challenges:
Paper Sundaes for the sketch
Cute Daisy May for Lavender and Lace.

Thanks for looking. Tess x

Daffodil Fairy

My card today features an inage of Daffodil Fairy  The image has been printed on acetate and attached with brads on to the yellow base card - fortunately the 'Best Wishes' border, which is preprinted on the card, was just the perfect size to take the image. A single yellow/white gingham bow has been used to embellish. The card is for several challenges:
Rainbow Lady's Challenge - '4 Seasons' so I have chosen 'Spring'.
Quixotic Challenges - 'I believe in Fairies'
My Time to Craft 'Fairy Folk'

I will use this as an Easter card.
Thanks for popping by today. Tess x

Holly

Another Christmas card today.
For this one I have used some holly printed vellum, mounted over the dark green base card. I have used holly backing paper from Papermania to make the two squares. The holly image was made using a stamp from Artemio which I coloured with Sakura stardust pens. I used my scalloped oval nestabilities die for the shape.I made two card buttons and threaded through with red ribbon to make 'bows'. The sentiment is on green mirri card so hasn't scanned very well but it reads 'Season's Greetings'. I have added a small red pearl on the sentiment.

This card is entered for 4 challenges today:

Bah!Humbug! for 'Holly'
Truly Scrumptious for the sketch and additional 'Buttons and Bows'
Alphabet Challenge ' O is for ........Oval'
TotallyPapercrafts for a 'Recipe' 3 embellishments, 2 papers, 1 image.
Thanks for popping by today. Tess x

You are my Everything

Yes it's February and romance is in the air! For this card I used a laser cut heart panel which has been in my stash box for years! The backing paper has been distressed with a brown ink pad and the sentiment - deliberately blurry says 'You are my everything'. I have embellished with red ribbon and some heart border peel-offs. Nothing new has been used on this card.
The card has been made for several challenges:
Sketch and Stash for the sketch
Papertake Weekly for 'Love Actually'
Creative Card Crew for 'Valentine'
I think I know who might be the recepient of this one!
